What is SSC MTS Exam 2022

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the examination for recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) / Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff in various States and Union Territories all over India. The Regional Offices of the Commission will advertise recruitment to the Group “C” posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) (NT) in various States/UTs. All Those Candidates Who Are Interested to These Posts Filled Their Online Application Form. Application submission process will start from date 02-02-2022 and will be conducted till date 18-03-2022. SSC MTS Examination Process / Exam Process:

All the qualified candidates will be called for the exam. The exam will be written type. The exam will be divided into two papers. (SSC MTS Examination Process) Paper 1 will be objective type and Paper-II will be of conventional type. Paper-I will be conducted from 01-07-2022 to 20-07-2022 (CBE) and Paper-II (Descriptive) will be held on //2022 (DES)**. Candidates have to secure minimum cut off marks overall as decided by SSC for provisional allotment. Aspirants have to prepare for this exam and till goal-oriented preparation.

Candidates will be selected for Paper-II on the basis of their performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will be of qualifying nature only. The cut-off in Paper-I and Qualifying Marks in Paper-II may differ for the vacancies in each State/UT. The selection of candidates for each State/UT will ultimately be done on the basis of their performance in Paper-I, which is in line with the basic eligibility standards prescribed in Paper-II.

SSC MTS Examination Pattern / Written Exam Pattern:-

  • For SSC MTS Paper – 1
  • Paper 1 will be objective type.
  • Paper-I consists of four parts consisting of 100 questions of 100 marks.
  • The total time duration for Paper-I is 1.5 hours (90 minutes) and 2 hours (120 minutes) for visually handicapped candidates.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  • The questions for Part-A, B, D will be set in both English and Hindi.

For SSC MTS Exam 2 / SSC MTS Paper – 2

  • Paper-II will be descriptive in which the candidate will be required to write short essay/letter in English or any language included in the 8th Schedule of the Constitution.
  • Paper-2 will be of 50 Marks.
  • The total time duration for Paper-II is 30 minutes and 45 minutes for visually handicapped candidates.
  • Paper-II will be of qualifying nature only.
  • Paper-II will be conducted only for such candidates who satisfy the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for various categories.

  • The questions from ‘General Intelligence and Reasoning’ will be non-verbal considering the tasks attached to the post.
  • This section is very scoring so candidates need to pay more attention to this part.
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning will be of 25 marks/ questions.
  • It will consist of non-verbal type questions.

The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relation, arithmetical calculations and other analytical tasks.

Topics to focus on:- Similarities and Differences, Space visualization, Problem-solving, Analysis, Judgment, Decision making, Visual memory, Discreet observation, Relationship concepts, Data classification, Arithmetic number series, non-verbal series etc.

SSC MTS Numerical Aptitude Tips

The questions on Numerical Aptitude will be simple, a level that an average matriculation pass will be able to answer comfortably.

Candidates are advised to save time with Reasoning, English and General Awareness as this part takes more time to solve the problems.

The numerical ability will be of 25 marks/ questions.

Don’t spend too much time on one question. Solve questions according to their ability.

SSC MTS English Tips

The English language questions will be simple, of a level that the average matriculate will be in a position to answer comfortably.

English language will be of 25 marks/ questions.

Topics to focus on:- Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage, etc.

SSC MTS General Awareness Tips

Questions on General Awareness will also be of similar standard.

The questions will be designed to test the candidate’s ability to have general awareness of the environment around him and his society.

General Knowledge for SSC MTS Exam / SSC MTS General Awareness will be 25 marks/questions.

Note:- There will be no component of Maps/Graphs/Diagrams/Statistical Data in General Intelligence and Reasoning/General Awareness paper for VH candidates of 40% and above visual disability and opting for SCRIBE.
